Emotion Code, Demystified

Writer: AshleyAshley

Have you ever felt a mysterious weight dragging you down? Or experienced a surge of joy for no apparent reason? Emotions are a powerful force that shape our lives, yet they can often be elusive and perplexing. Enter, Emotion Code--a groundbreaking method that works to unravel the mysteries of our emotions and set us free from their invisible grip.

What Is Emotion Code?

Created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, Emotion Code is a revolutionary energy healing technique that aims to release trapped emotions stored within our bodies. These trapped emotions, like tiny energetic balls, can disrupt our physical and emotional well-being, leading to everything from chronic pain to relationship issues. Emotions become trapped when we're not able to fully process or understand our experiences. This can start as early as in the womb. Trapped emotions can even be passed down throughout the ancestral line. This is one reason why we see many families struggling with similar issues generation after generation.

How Does It Work?

Imagine your body as a library, with each trapped emotion as a book sitting on the shelves. Emotion Code uses muscle testing to identify these trapped emotions and then releases them using a magnet. Yes, you read that right – a magnet! By swiping a magnet along specific energy meridians, Emotion Code frees these emotions, allowing the body to restore balance and harmony.

What Is Muscle Testing?

Muscle testing is a technique used by the practitioner to gain insight to a question. More specifically, the practitioner links their own fingers together, forming two connected loops. Then the practitioner asks a questions and pulls their fingers apart to see if the chain breaks or stays together. This lets the practitioner know what emotions are trapped, along with some other insightful healing information.

Okay, But Does All of This Really Work?

Skeptics may raise an eyebrow at the idea of using magnets to heal emotions, but speaking from experience, I have to say I've seen people make big strides with this technique. Countless testimonials speak of a newfound sense of freedom, relief from physical ailments, improved relationships, and so much more. While scientific evidence is still catching up, it's hard to argue with the personal experiences of those who have found solace in this approach.

I've personally used Emotion Code on myself for everything from acne to anxiety to deeply rooted trauma and everything in between.

Is It All Just Hocus-Pocus?

Some may dismiss the Emotion Code as woo-woo nonsense, but this technique is firmly rooted in the principles of energy healing. Just like acupuncture or Reiki, Emotion Code taps into the body's energetic pathways to bring about healing.

Part of what I love about Emotion Code is that it identifies trapped emotions from experiences we could have never guessed are still affecting us. Take for example: around age 5, a child is tasked with bringing a snack to class. Say this child is crippled with fear that they''ll choose a snack that the other kids don't like. They're then unable to process the fear and it becomes trapped. That tiny, seemingly insignificant moment now has the power to create more fearful experiences throughout their life, each time that emotion is triggered.

Emotion Code can be used for "small t" trauma, like the example used above and with "big T" trauma.

"Big T" trauma refers to major, life-altering events that can have a profound and lasting impact on an individual, such as natural disasters, physical or sexual abuse, or witnessing violence. On the other hand, "small t" trauma refers to less severe but still distressing experiences that can accumulate over time and affect emotional well-being, such as ongoing stress, bullying, or relationship conflicts. Both types of trauma can have significant effects on a person's mental and emotional health.

One of my favorite things to hear a client say after their Emotion Code session, is that they feel more love, peace and neutrality toward those that have caused them to feel a certain way. Emotion Code releases them from the prison of emotional pain and suffering that hurts no one but themselves.

What Happens During a Session?

We'll sit in a comfy spot--on a big couch or in nice cozy armchairs. We'll chat about the process in case you have any questions. You'll be asked if there's a specific intention you'd like to work on. This could be a physical issue like hip pain, depression, a harmful pattern--anything you'd like to release. We can also simply set the intention as "general" and work to remove whatever is ready to go.

Then using a chart of emotions, the practitioner begins muscle testing to identify what emotion is trapped. We find out what age it became trapped and if there's anything else we need to know about it before you can release it. This is where intuition comes into play. You'll be asked if anything came to mind upon hearing the emotion and age. If yes, wonderful--that's usually what we need to know. If not, the practitioner uses their own intuitive abilities to bring the clarity that is necessary.

Now we're ready to release the trapped emotion. We'll ask you to focus on "love" as we move our magnet down your back three times. This typically feels very freeing, like a weight being lifted.

Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, looking to improve your relationships, or simply curious about the power of emotions, Emotion Code offers a unique and intriguing approach to emotional healing.

Remember, emotions are a part of what makes us human. They're messengers and so they do serve us but we're not always ready and able to answer their call. Understanding and releasing them when they're no longer helping us can lead to a more fulfilling and joyful life. So, why not embark on this exciting journey of self-discovery and see where it takes you? Who knows, you might just find the key to unlocking deeper peace.
